Our Team
Misty Reese
Veterinarian and Owner
Misty Reese has been practicing for 11 years and completed school at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She tries to treat each patient as she would want her pets to be treated. She is constantly learning and evolving in the way she practices. She enjoys playing and hiking at local and state parks with her husband (Nathan), son (Zian), and dogs (Zappa and Alice). They also enjoy local activities, such as the Art Walk, Farmers Market, visits to a local orchard, and events downtown.
Taylor Crabtree
RVT
Taylor Crabtree has been practicing for seven years. She finished the technician program at IBC Vet Tech Institute and loves diagnostic work. Client education is also very important to her, as she wants to make sure your pet is receiving the needed care/medications at home. She loves spending time with her daughter, JoJo, and her dogs, Oliver and Stella. She also enjoys working out at the gym.
Lacey Gibbs
Receptionist/Vet Assistant
Lacey has been with Riverview since 2021. She takes pride in her desire to learn new skills and enjoys being able to help our patients in any way needed. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 dogs (Rambo, Radar, and Boba), and 2 cats (Tuni and Opie).
Lacy Altom
Receptionist/Vet Assistant
Lacy has been an integral part of the veterinary field since 2018 and currently serves as our receptionist. She holds a Veterinary Assistant Diploma from Penn Foster University and is a graduate of Connersville High School. Lacy finds immense fulfillment in contributing to the healing and well-being of our patients. Outside of work, she enjoys attending concerts and spending time in nature. At home, Lacy shares her life with a diverse and cherished group of pets, including Edward, a pitbull mix; Shoresy, a rescued yorkie mix; two cats, Mordecai and Malice; and Charlene, a Green Cheek Conure.
Kristi Wright
Receptionist/Kennel Attendant
Kristi Wright serves as a Receptionist and Kennel Assistant, having joined our team in July 2022. She possesses a deep passion for animal care, dedicating her time and expertise to ensuring the well-being of our furry friends. During her leisure hours, Kristi indulges in the creative world of arts and crafts.
Amanda Sharp
Vet Assistant
Amanda Sharp has been practicing for 13 years and completed school at Pendleton Heights High School. She likes getting to know the clients and developing good relationships with them. She does a lot of animal rescue. She also enjoys attending concerts and seeing her daughter participate in gymnastics.
Starla Hibbard
Groomer
For 25 years, Starla Hibbard has been a groomer. The health and safety of every animal are her top priority. She utilizes continuing education to stay on top of breed standards while maintaining a “humanity over vanity” attitude. She loves spending time with her family, especially her better half, two children, and two Jack Russel Terriers! She enjoys taking trips, paintball scenario events, kayaking, camping, movies, and reading.
Nathan Reese
Office Manager
For three months, Nathan Reese has been the Office Manager. He completed school at Ivy Tech University. He enjoys learning about veterinary medicine and loves seeing all the patients! He likes playing at the park with his son, frisbee golf, walking with the dogs, and listening to music.
Abigail Short
Abigail is a dedicated team member at Riverview Animal Hospital, where she provides compassionate care to animals. With a deep passion for animal welfare, she plays a vital role in helping ensure the health and happiness of the pets she works with.
In her free time, Abigail loves fishing, spending time at the lake during the summer, and enjoying quality moments with her friends and family. Her two Yorkshire Terriers, Mylee and Milo, are always by her side, bringing joy and warmth to her life.Whether at work or at play, Abigail’s love for animals, nature, and the people closest to her is clear.

Bean makes sure that the office is running smoothly and is a fantastic manager.
